Estate presentation

This family-run Burgundy estate was created in 1955 by its founder Daniel Rion, with just two hectares located in the commune of Vosne-Romanéegiven as a gift by his paternal grandfather. He sold his wine exclusively to wine merchants in the Burgundy until 1978. His sons joined their father on the estate in the late 1970s, each helping to bring in new plots of vines. Many innovations have been made in this field, such as : the construction of a new winery, a much larger cellar and a tasting cellar, where direct sales of the cellars have been a success with private customers. In 1995, Daniel retired, leaving the reins of the estate to his sons, who continue to run, sell and develop the estate's wines. Today, the estate boasts eighteen hectares of vineyards, in eighteen different appellations, in six different villages on the Côte et des Hautes-Côtes de Nuits such that : PrémeauxNuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, Flagey-Echézeaux, Vougeot and Marey-les-Fussey.
